Coronavirus

In line with Government announcement on 18th March 2020 to close all educational establishments to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, Caterpillars has been temporarily closed from 20th March 2020.

Following the further announcement on 28th May 2020 that Early Years Settings could start to reopen from 1st June 2020, we are pleased to announce that we will be reopening both settings from 15th June 2020.

In line with guidance from the Department of Education (DfE), this will initially only be for our children who will are due to start Primary School in September and will be for morning sessions only. This is in order to manage the numbers of children in the setting and provide a safe environment for them.

A number of our policies have been updated in preparation for our reopening and these can all be found on our policy page.

For those children not yet able to return, the Setting Managers will continue to provide activities to help you and your children with their home learning.

We will keep monitoring all Government and DfE guidance under review and we look forward to welcoming all our children back when it is deemed safe for us to reopen to larger numbers.
