Policies

Following the introduction of the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework in July 2021, a new set of policies and procedures were implemented and these were adopted by Caterpillars Pre-school. The set of policies has been further updated to reflect the EYFS changes from September 2025.

The policies that support the new EYFS framework are viewable here on our website. Copies of these policies, along with the supporting procedures are also available to view in our settings. 

These policies help us to ensure we can continue to provide a high quality service and that you and your child find Pre-school and that we can continue to provide a quality service for children, parents, our staff and the local communities.   

All policies are reviewed regulary, but less than annually to ensure any practice changes are reflected.
